Film Screening of the movie "FRESH" 

More than 150 people joined together for an enlightening film screening. The movie FRESH, produced by Ana Sofia Joanes, has been making headlines
across the nation. The documentary provides a look at some modern-day sustainability farming practices throughout the United States.


According to EcoSalon "...it shows the incredible creativity of individuals who are devoting their lives to producing food differently...these individuals show how organic, ecological farming methods can be viable in contrast to what the naysayers in conventional food say."

Live music was a big part of the weekend last year! Decorah area's famous FOOT-NOTES played live at the Decorah Elks Lodge.

Saturday Night

Another Saturday night option was a garden party and live music at local gardener and photographer, David Cavagnaro’s farm.

"Maritza's" repertoire included beautiful melodies forged in the passionate history of Europe and Russia, lively Jewish wedding dance horas and frailachs, Gypsy (Romany) music, and twisting rhythmic line dance tunes from Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia and Greece.
